The Walking Dead Season Two: Episode 1 | Review - AWESOMEoutof10
Added: 23.12.2013 17:16 | 8 views | 0 comments
AWESOMEoutof10's Adam DeMarco returns to Telltale Games' bleak zombie apocalypse world and reunites with Clementine. Things are still really sad. "The Walking Deads second season is shaping up to be every bit as grim and foreboding as its predecessor, and, ironically, thats really not that unpleasant at all. Now, if youll excuse me, Im going to go take a fistful of Paxil, and look for someone to give me a hug."

| Review: Walking Dead Season 2 - Episode 1 (New Gamer Nation)
Added: 23.12.2013 14:17 | 5 views | 0 comments
The Walking Dead is backnot the TV series, but the spin-off video game franchise by famous developer Telltale Games, who only became so well known after the highly successful first season. Their other games, like The Wolf Among Us, have also been huge hits, proving that Telltale isnt a one-trick-pony. After such a highly acclaimed first season, everyone has been waiting eagerly to see if Telltale could recreate their successful formula for the second season. Once word got out you would play as Clementine, the hype only increased. So is the first episode, All That Remains, walking tall, or is it crawling on all fours trying to keep up with its predecessor?

| The Walking Dead Season Two: All That Remains Review [Capsule Computers]

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes:
"Creating a follow up for a popular release and maintaining the same level as success with the next release is a difficult task. Even more so when the game you released was awarded numerous Game of the Year awards and became one of the most recommended titles during 2012. As such, Telltale Games has set the bar high for themselves and now that they have started the second season of their Walking Dead series, does the first episode, All that Remains, continue to impress?"

Telltale Games wowed us last year with The Walking Dead, a downloadable series with more than a few nods to the point-and-click adventures of old. Despite a few shortcomings in terms of technical stability, The Walking Dead told a compelling and even emotional tale, sending it to the top of a good few game of the year lists as a result. To its credit, choices made under pressure shaped the story more than they did in heavy hitters such as Beyond: Two Souls, which seemed more about cinematic flair than genuine decision making.

Eldon from Denkiphile: "Fans of the first game will want to pick this game up. The first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two starts strong, but time will tell if the rest of the episodic releases stack up to it."
